Log-Log Graph Paper with Locked / Square Grid:
The most distinguishing characteristic about Locked / Square Log-Log graphing sheets is that the grid along both axes is logarithmic and they exhibit square grids such that they are proportional along the Vertical and Horizontal axes. When the grids are locked to be square, the second cycle and log-base settings are ignored and the “Lock” setting determines which axis the grid configuration is assigned. I.E., if the “Lock” is set horizontally, then the setting are applied to the horizontal axis and the vertical axis will have equal proportions to the horizontal axis with additional or fewer grid lines filling out its length. Log-Log Graph Paper with Independent Cycles and Bases:
The most distinguishing characteristic about Log-Log graphing sheets is that the grid along both axes is logarithmic. There are additional adjustments that can be made with this type graphing sheet. Cycles can be either locked together in such that they form a square grid or can be selected independently from each other. Additionally the log-base can be chosen independently for each axis when choosing independent cycles. If the grids are locked to be square, the second cycle and log-base settings are ignored.
